  • Angelo’s Italian Restaurant

Pulled up on a busy Friday night and the place was jumping. 👀
Right away, the energy felt good—staff smiling, moving fast, and still super helpful.

    Menu? LOADED.
I kept it simple: lettuce & tomato salad + the Sicilian.

Now listen… it took a minute for the food to come out 👀
BUT when it hit the table? HOT & fresh—no complaints there 🔥

Service stayed on point the whole time, checking in and keeping things smooth even with the crowd.

Vibe check: lively, classic, a little nostalgic
    Food check: fresh, hot, satisfying
    Service check: solid ✔️

Angelo’s definitely held it down. If you’re in Wichita and want that old-school Italian feel with good energy—this one’s a stop. 🍝

  • Buffalo Wild Wings

    Pull up a chair 🍽️

Stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings and even with the crowd, the wait was only about 5 minutes—no complaints there. We did ask for a booth but ended up with a table… not a dealbreaker, just worth noting.

    Now let’s get into it.

The food? Came out hot, fresh, and fast. No delays, no issues. We went for the bottomless appetizers and they kept them coming—exactly how that deal should be done. The server stayed on it too, making sure we were always stocked up without having to flag anyone down.

The atmosphere was lively—TVs going, people laughing, that real game-night energy. Definitely a spot you go to when you want that buzz.

    And the drinks? 🔥
Big shoutout to the bartender—the Blue Hawaiian was hitting just right.

  • Los Habaneros Mexican Food Truck

    Pull up a chair ….

I stopped by Los Habaneros Food Truck and let me just say… this one earned its spot real quick.

The service? Friendly Patient, and actually helpful when ordering – Which matters more than people think. You can tell they know their menu and take pride in what they’re serving.

Now the food…Whew. I went with three steak tacos and an order of nachos. The tacos were packed with flavor, juicy, and cooked just right. And the nachos? They were not shy with the toppings- exactly how it should be. Every bite had something on it. no dry chips in sight, so many topping in fact I think this the first time I ran out of chips and still had toppings left over.

This is the kind of spot you find yourself thinking about again later… and the next day. I’ll definitely be back.

  • Golden Chick- A Spring Break Stop Worth Taking

    Pull up a chair….

Spring Break weather made it impossible to stay inside, i decided to give golden chick a try-and it did not disappoint.

The Chicken tenders were the star of the show: perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor in every bite. The fries came out crispy and fresh, exactly what you want on the side. What really stood out, though, was the attention to detail- I didnt even have to ask for extras like spicy seasoning or Texas Pete hot sauce. It’s the small touches like that elevate a quick stop into a solid experience.

Overall, it was quick, satisfying, and definitely worth the visit. If you’re out enjoying the weather and need something easy but delicious, Golden Chick might just be the move.
